Scent throw
Fragrance fades after a few weeks
Fragrance fade is a storage and chemistry problem. Some notes (citrus, green florals) evaporate naturally; others fade because of poor cure or improper sealing.

Likely causes
- Fragrance contains volatile top notes (citrus, mint).
- Stored uncovered or in heat/sunlight.
- Insufficient cure before sealing in the lid.
How to diagnose
- Compare scent at 1, 14, and 30 days after pour.
- Check storage conditions.
What to change next batch
- 01
Layer fragrance: 70% mid/base note FO, 30% top note FO.
- 02
Seal candles in lidded vessels or cellophane after a 14-day open cure.
- 03
Store away from direct sun and above 22°C.
