A candle making journal that learns from your burn-tests.
Save your Builder recipes, log your test burns the way professional evaluators do, and let Waxverse sharpen its wick and fragrance-load predictions for your specific wax and room. Free, private by default, and built around BS EN 15493:2019.
Save recipes to the cloud
Every Builder recipe, one tap. Synced across your devices and tagged for instant recall. No more lost spreadsheets.
Log real burn-tests
Capture cure days, melt-pool at 1hr and 2hr, hangup, mushrooming, sooting, and your hot-throw 1-5. The format BS EN 15493:2019 evaluators recognise.
Get a wick verdict that learns
Waxverse correlates your symptoms with its 26-rule model and refines wick and fragrance-load predictions for your wax. Your room, your batches.

When five or more makers test the same wax + wick + vessel combination, the trend appears as a privacy-safe aggregate. No names, no recipes, just direction.
What we record (and what we never share)
- Wax family and SKU
- Wick family, size, count
- Vessel diameter, wax mass, FO load
- Cure days and ambient temperature
- Melt-pool diameter at 1hr and 2hr
- Hangup depth and mushrooming
- Sooting (yes/no) and flame height
- Your hot-throw rating 1-5
Recipes are private by default. Burn-test results only contribute to public aggregates when five or more makers have tested the same combination, and even then no recipe or name is ever attached.
Why log your burns?
The Waxverse Starting-point Score predicts a candle from datasheet maths. The real result depends on your wax batch, your room, your cure time, and how the FO sits in that vessel. Variables no spreadsheet can guess. Logging real burns is the only way the engine learns the difference between "should work" and "does work, in your studio".
