Paraffin 4630 Cut Grass, Bright
Paraffin's natural high-throw profile pairs beautifully with the volatile top notes of Fresh Cut Grass. Pour temperature stays well below the 88°C flashpoint.

Burn notes
Approx. 40 hours per Libbey. Best in spring/summer rotations.
Method
- 01
Weigh the wax precisely. Paraffin is unforgiving with off-recipe ratios.
- 02
Melt the wax in a double boiler to 85°C, stirring to dissolve any flakes completely.
- 03
Stir in Vybar if used at the recommended dose. Hold at 85°C for two minutes to incorporate.
- 04
Cool the wax to 81°C, then add fragrance and dye and stir for two full minutes.
- 05
Let the wax come down to 76°C. Pre-warm vessels to 50°C.
- 06
Pour steadily. Paraffin can sinkhole, leave a small reserve and top up after the candle sets if needed.
- 07
Cool slowly at room temperature. Cure for three to seven days before the first burn.
- 08
Trim the wick to 5 mm. First burn: two to three hours to establish the full melt pool.
