Fresh Cut Grass, 4 oz Spring Tin

Tins are forgiving and ship well. Fresh Cut Grass has a high flashpoint so you can pour warm and still keep the green notes intact.

Ingredients

  • 220 gGolden Brands 464 Soy
  • WickECO 10
  • 4 oz Seamless Travel Tin
  • 9.0%Fresh Cut Grass (Fragrance Oil)
  • Pour58°C

Burn notes

Approx. 22 hours per 4 oz tin. Top notes peak in the first hour, deeper grass settles after.

Compatibility notes

  • 4 oz Seamless Travel Tin conducts heat — surface can exceed 60 °C. Always burn on a trivet or coaster. Never hold the vessel while lit. Warn customers on the burn-instruction label.

Method

  1. 01

Weigh the wax into a pouring pitcher to the gram. Accuracy here decides everything downstream.

  2. 02

Heat the wax in a double boiler to 80°C, stirring gently until fully clear. Do not exceed 85°C.

  3. 03

Take the pitcher off the heat. Let the wax cool to 63°C, then stir in fragrance and dye, if used, for a full two minutes.

  4. 04

Continue cooling, stirring occasionally, until the wax reaches 58°C.

  5. 05

Pre-warm the vessels in a 50°C oven for ten minutes. Centre the wick, fix it with a wick bar.

  6. 06

Pour in a single steady stream into one side of the vessel until full. Do not move the vessels for at least four hours.

  7. 07

Cure undisturbed at room temperature for 10 days before the first burn. The scent throw climbs the entire time.

  8. 08

Trim the wick to 5 mm before lighting. Burn the first time for two hours minimum to set the memory ring.
